The
Game
Fish n’ Ships is a quick-combat & hand management game for 2-6 players. Each game takes about 20 minutes to play depending on the amount of people.
Follow your map, collect your fish, gain magical dominion over the seas. The classic tale!
To win, you must duel, scheme, betray, hoard, & generally act like a pirate.
The game contains a variety of card types including Cannonballs, Goal Cards, Treasure Cards, and “Tide-Turner” cards all with custom illustrations from Mitchell Mayorga .
Tide-Turners are single-use spell cards that do not get shuffled back into the deck once the draw pile is depleted. Players can try to use them quickly to sew chaos or hoard them for a surprise in the late game.
The game is inspired by legendary games like “Bang! The Bullet”, “King of Tokyo”, & “Flux”
Powerful abilities can be unlocked by collecting treasures. But beware! If you’re not careful, they can be stolen by your opponents!
The more treasure cards you collect, the more magic you can wield.
But be warned all of ye! Since this is a piratically inclined game, cards can be stolen if you lose a battle or are otherwise plundered.
So if you have a particularly nice hand, be prepared to defend it!
Prepare yourself and your friends for a swashbuckling new addition to your games-night line-up!*
*And if they’re NOT ready to buckle at least 3 swashes, then are they really your friends at all? No. No they are not.

That smug mug right there is me! Hi! I invented Fish n’ Ships and I run Goodfellow Games Co. I’m a fan of the particular kind of fun that comes from games nights and I’ve been loving the cardboard renaissance of recent years.
I prefer simpler games to ones with a lot of moving parts. The games I return to often are the ones that can be set up in a few minutes and explained in about as much time. So those types of games are the foundation that my company will be built on. Not that there won’t be a few giant games coming out later on. :)
By day, I run a humble video production company that also serves to help fund my crazy game ideas. So if you’re curious about the sweet production quality on the kickstarter video, well, that riddle is solved!
If you have a game idea or you want advice on how to get it off the ground, or if you just want to tell me how much fun you had playing one of my games, drop me a line! I’m always eager to start a conversation!

That guy there is Jeremy. Apart from running a software development company, he also has a passion for programming video games (he got his pretty intense Game Dev Degree from Napier University in Edinburgh).
Since that degree means he is basically a wizard, Jeremy is currently producing a mobile version of Fish N’ Ships which we hope to launch in tandem with the upcoming crowdfunding campaign.
He’s a fan of the big honkin’ tabletop epics (think “Lords of Hella”, “Xia: Legends of the Drift System"), and the level of strategy required to master such games is what drives his passion to create them.
If you have a mobile game idea and want to see if its doable, or you just want to chat about cool geek stuff, drop him a line!
